What should I wear?

We normally require you to remove your clothing, down to your underwear.  This allows us to assess and treat you more effectively. We do appreciate that undressing can make you feel uncomfortable, so please wear loose clothing as an alternative.

Does it hurt?

No. We facilitate the body's ability to heal itself through a variety of stretching, mobilizing and manipulative techniques. It may produce some unusual sensations but it is rarely painful.

How many treatments will I need?

It is difficult to predict the treatment length until you have been assessed.  Upon consultation we will give you an estimate number of sessions required as part of the treatment plan. If the likely number of sessions required increases you will be advised accordingly.

Are you registered with any private medical health companies?

Yes. We are registered with all major insurance companies such as BUPA, PPP, Standard Life, RSA, Norwich Union and HSA. Please contact your insurers or check your policy document for the required procedure for treatment/referral. BUPA for instance will normally authorise treatment over the phone and give you an authorisation code. Please remember that your insurance company may require you to be referred to us by your GP.
